Tennis elbow medically termed as lateral epicondylitis, is the strain caused to tendons located in the outer side of the forearm, which joins the upper and lower arm (humerus with radius and ulna). There is an inflammation in these tendons, which triggers pain in the outer elbow area. Activity that involve twisting the forearm is a possible trigger point for strain on the outer elbow.
